Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market Invites You to Enjoy the Best Three Weeks of the Season starting this Wednesday, Aug. 24!!
Let’s make this the best three weeks at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers’ Market! And, we have a lot to celebrate over the next three weeks as our first season as the "new" 15-week expanded farmers' market comes to a close on Sept. 7!
Come on down to the market this Wednesday, August 24, 3-7 pm, where you will find our farmers and producers with their local farm-fresh foods and goods and more!
We’ve got it goin’ on here at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers’ Market this Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm as we celebrate our Old Main Line when you can Buy Local, Eat Fresh, Stay a While and take a hike on the Rails to Trails, stroll across Main Street for a peek at the caboose, “Mackenzie," and listen to the acoustic folk music tunes of our local friends, Larry and Mary Hushour!
In addition to all our wonderful local farmers and producers, we have a new guest vendor this week, Enter Exit Escape,Winner of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce’s $5,000 grand prize at the Carroll Biz Challenge 2016 to build their first escape room!

Whispering Breeze Farm - This Taneytown-based farm owned by Brower family has some of the best local cheese around! From their herd of lovely dairy cows, you may find the following cheeses at the market this season: Hard Cheese ‐ Raw Milk Cheese: Cheddar, Garlic & Chive, Smoked Cheddar, Italian, Bacon Dill, Smoked Bacon Dill, Jalapeno; Wine Cheese (seasonal): Merlot Cheddar, Raspberry Cheddar; Pasteurized Milk Cheese:Gouda, Swiss, Buffalo Ranch Cheddar, Havarti, Caraway Havarti. All delicious and full of savory local cheesy goodness.
The Meat Shack at Strohmer's Farm - Pork, Beef, Goat and a Plentiful Supply of Duck and Chicken Eggs – Lately, The Meat Shack has been bringing a variety of their farm-fresh, naturally produced meats including smoked pork sausage and more! Wonder what they’re bringing this week? A variety of their farm-fresh meats, from pork sausage, bacon, ham steaks, all pork hot dogs, hot Italian sausage, ground beef, beef cubes, ground goat and more! Special Orders are accepted for Strip Steaks and Chicken Parts.
Willow Creek Manor Farming - Get your "garden salad" (fixin's) and a whole lot more at Willow Creek Manor Farm! Our local Certified-Organic farm out of New Windsor brought Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Grape Tomatoes, Turnips, Radishes, Scallions, Spring Onions, Summer Squash, Patti Pan Squash, Eight Ball Squash, Romaine Hearts, Lettuce Mix, Sugar Snap Peas, Black Raspberries and More in the last several weeks! On their nearby New Windsor farm, one of the largest certified-organic farms in Maryland, the Snyder family grows Tomatoes, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Radishes, Pie Pumpkins, Turnips, Beets, Green Squash, Pan Squash, 10 different Winter Squash, Herbs, Potatoes and so much more naturally grown goodness.
Five Points Farm Market & Greenhouse – What will Five Points Farm Market and Greenhouse bring this week to the market? Enter, Escape, Exit - Wondering what this escape room thing is all about? Come visit our informational table at the Mount Airy Farmers Market tomorrow, Wednesday Aug. 24th from 3-7. There will be a little challenge, a chance to earn a discount for our 15-minute game on Saturday, and all the information you want (except trade secrets!), straight from the owner's mouth.

Collecting for #EC Strong! – We’re nearly there! We have a goal of $500, we’ve raised $447.90 that goes directly to the Ellicott City Partnership to assist with our sister Ellicott City business community. Let’s exceed that goal and double it to $1,000 over the next three weeks!
