The Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market – now a 20-week, 4-county, value-added farmers’ market – works to promote community. The Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market is a seasonal market offering fresh, local produce, flowers, prepared foods and handcrafted items directly to the Mount Airy community. The Market hosts a wide range of family and nutritional programs, including Live Entertainment, Healthy Eating and Active Living activities, Chef Demonstrations, Master Gardener consultations and youth activities.

The 2019 Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market runs on Wednesdays*, May 15-September 25, 2019 (closed Wednesday, July 3), 3 - 7 p.m. The is located in the in the parking area behind the historic Mount Airy train station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
