It’s all happening at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers’ Market this Wednesday, August 17th, 3-7pm.  Our farmers and producers will have their delicious farm-fresh foods and goods PLUS we are inviting you to come out to our Customer Appreciation Day Cookout-Fundraiser from 5-7pm to benefit our devastated sister Main Street Community, Ellicott City.

In addition, we are continuing to reach out to you – the Greater Mount Airy Community – to ask you to come together at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers’ Market in support of our neighboring Main Street community in Ellicott City.  We’re collecting non-perishable food items and essentials for the victims, monetary donations and more to be passed directly to the victims through the designated organizations entrusted with assisting the businesses and people displaced by the flooding.

Come on down to the market this Wednesday, August 17, 3-7 pm, where you will find our farmers and producers with their local farm-fresh foods and goods, talk to a Master Gardener, listen to live, local music from local musician, Karen, who will serenade us with some bluesy-folk music tunes!

Actually, there are thousands of wild fruits that I still do not know. Perhaps, it's because of the idea that I am not really into plants? But I am happy to have read this article because it opened my eyes with different wild fruits that I should have a knowledge of. In all fairness, learning was made fun because of the photos that you posted! I am hoping that more and more posts like this will be posted here because it's worth reading!
