Two years ago, I visited the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market and bought some of our local and fresh foods. I arrived at the market, twelve minutes before 3 pm and there were already people waiting for it to open. The vendors were very friendly and sociable and I experienced talking "plants" with the Master Gardener. Another thing I really enjoyed is listening to the music of Miranda Judd. It is the perfect background music while buying our local foods in the market.

We actually have a weekend market in our neighborhood. I am always looking forward on weekends because my mom would always bring me with her. The weekend market is actually nice because it already has I think everything that we need. I remember my mom bought a lot of plants there already. We can also buy fresh goods from there like fruits and vegetables. Last and most especially, you can actually find herbal medicines there that are really cheap and effective.
