Come Buy Local with Us at our National Farmers Market Week Celebration!
Rain or SHINE! ~ Join us for Week 12 of the 2019 Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019, 3-7 PM!  We're in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy train station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.  Convenient parking is available in upper and lower the Bank Parking Lots across Main Street and up in the  Municipal  Parking  Lot off of Park Avenue.

We invite you, our community, to join in at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market celebration of National Farmers' Market Week! From the Taste of the Market, Market Nutrition Tours to games in the market's cafe, live music and more, you'll have some National Farmers Market Week fun! The 2019 National Farmers' Market Week Celebration is a nation-wide celebration fun events, specials, contests, and activities!

TASTE OF THE  MARKET: 3:00-7:00 PM - Yummy! Taste that Farm-Freshness at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market Taste of the Market this Wednesday, July 10. We'll offer samples of fresh fruit, including juicy, fresh picked watermelon. Maybe we'll have some local corn and other veggies, too!

MUSIC AT THE MARKET: 4:00 -6:00 PM - Larry and Mary Hushour, and Mayor Pat, too!  Listen to the tunes as performed  by Larry and Mary Hushour with special guest, Mayor Pat Rockinberg, as they sing a medley of music including railroad tunes, classic rock and country. Larry and Mary are instrumental in the restoration of "MacKenzie" the Caboose, the Rails-to-Trails, and involved in coordinating the efforts behind the Mount Airy Historical Society's Museum relocation to the historic train station.
