It's a day that promises to be full of sunshine! Join us for the Opening Day of the 2018 Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 3-7 PM! 

We're cutting the ribbon with Maryland Secretary of Agriculture  Joseph Bartenfelder  to mark a bountiful season at the farmers' market, the place to go to Buy Local, Eat Fresh and Spend a While!

We've got a lot happening at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market which runs on Wednesdays, May 15-September 25, 3-7PM* in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy Train Station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771. ​.  This season, we're bringing in more activities promoting  HEAL - Healthy Eating, Active Living.  Check out our events page to find out about the HEAL-related events we have in store for you! 
* Closed on July 3 in honor of the Mount Airy Fireworks & Independence Day Celebration!
GARDEN PARTY! Find your vegetable, herb and annuals and perennials plus beautiful cut flower bouquets at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market on our opening day! Five Points Farm Market & Greenhouse, The Garden Basket and Lil Holler Farm will have a beautiful selection for you! Be sure to visit the full array of our vendors who have brought you an abundance of locally grown and/or produced products - from farm-fresh seasonal spring produce to meats, eggs, cheeses, baked goods and more!

ASK A MASTER GARDENER: The Carroll County Master Gardeners will be at the Market to give you tips and answer all your gardening questions!  ​
The Master Gardeners will be giving away free milkweed seedlings that attract Monarch butterflies and they are set to give advice on starting your tomato plants.

MUSIC AT THE MARKET: 4:00 - 6:00 PM - Darla Jean and the Somethin' or Others will be serenading us with their down-home, old-timey music, plus some country and a little bit o' rock! While you're listening to the ol' timey tunes, visit with our vendors and enjoy learning about their products. They are passionate about what they produce and will gladly talk with you about them.
