It's Kids and Family Day at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 3-7 PM! ​

There will be activities for Kids of All Ages, Games, Storytime at the Caboose and More! Read on below!

​We've got a lot happening at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market which runs on Wednesdays through September 25, 3-7PM* in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy Train Station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771. ​Convenient parking is available in nearby the market in the Municipal  Parking  Lot off of Park Avenue and in the Bank Parking Lot across Main Street, with a few spaces at the market reserved for the handicapped.  {* Closed on July 3 in honor of the Mount Airy  Fireworks Celebration!}

MUSIC AT THE MARKET: SCOTT BARRETT - 3:30 - 6:00 PM
 Listen to the Music at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market! Adding the vibe to the market this Wednesday, June 5, is Scott Barrett, local musician extraordinaire! Scott has performed at numerous Mount Airy events, including our Market! We're sure you'll enjoy his renditions of classic hit tunes, from the Rolling Stones "Route 66" to The Doobie Brother's "Black Water," and many others!

CABOOSE STORYTIME:  FARMERS MARKET EDITION - 4:00 & 4:45 PM

Join us for a special train storytime at the historic Mackenzie Caboose in downtown Mount Airy! It's the FARMER'S MARKET EDITION! Please choose 1 time to attend. Then go across the street and have some fun at the Farmers' Market!

KIDS NUTRITION TOUR - 4:30 & 5:30 PM 
What's a fruit? Kids (of all ages) are invited to attend the tours at 4:30 and 5:30pm. And about what classifies a fruit, veggie, grain, protein and dairy product, the  nutritional values, and more on this tour. There will be a short quiz at the end! Tour is expected to last 15 minutes tops!
