This Wednesday, August 3rd, we are changing our plans a little at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market. We are reaching out to you - the Greater Mount Airy Community – to ask you to come together at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers’ Market in support of our neighboring Main Street community in Ellicott City.  We’re collecting non-parishable food items and essentials for the victims, monetary donations and more to be passed directly to the victims through the designated organizations entrusted with assisting the businesses and people effected and/or displaced by the flooding.
In addition, while you are buying local and eating fresh this Wednesday at the August 3rd  market, also designated as our kids and family day, you will be able to listen to some beautiful acoustic music performed by Ellicott City’s Mother-Daughter Duo, Bittersweet Girls – Lisa and Sadie Roussell.
We are also welcoming a new guest vendor, local We Just Clicked photographer, David Butterfield, who will be happy to take your photo with your favorite farmer and/or fruits and vegetables in preparation and celebration of next week’s Maryland Farmers’ Market Week. David will have a stand selling his prints and postcards.
We have some wonderful locally grown and produced products from some of Maryland's Best farmers and producers!

Make it Memorable on Mount Airy's Main Street!  Tour. Shop. Dine. Enjoy!
Be adventuresome.  Shop Local. Eat Local. Be prepared.  Bringing it home to Mount Airy’s Main Street and remembering our sister Main Street community, Ellicott City.

Never in a million years would anyone have thought a disaster like what happened in Ellicott City could have happened around here.  In devastating times like these, many are glad that they were prepared or as prepared as they could be. In addition to all Mount Airy’s Main Street has to offer, we are fortunate to have several insurance agencies in close proximity. The town is home to several insurance agencies including: Browning Reagle Insurance Agency (Erie Insurance) and Cheryl A. Cates Insurance Agency (State Farm Insurance). Check these and other insurance agencies out.  There are many types of insurance needs. You hope you never need insurance, but when you do need it and have it, it will protect you and yours from many of life's potential financial hardships.

The Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market was formed in 2007 and is a production of the Mount Airy Main Street Association.   The 2016 Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market runs on Wednesdays, June 1-September 7, 2016, 3 - 7 p.m. It is located in the historic Town of Mount Airy, Maryland in the parking area behind the historic Mount Airy train station and nearby the Blossom and Basket Boutique at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.
