We are collecting essentials for the Ellicott City flood victims. Come fill the drop off boxes at the bottom of the Center Street staircase in The Cove. Items most in need: water, cleaning supplies, flashlights, non-perishables. We will be taking these items this Thursday to the Howard County Food Bank. Financial donations may be made through the Community Action Council of Howard County. We've got a lot happening at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market at this Wednesday, 3-7pm down in the in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy Train Station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, Maryland! Please keep reading on! Come meet The Sweet Farm with their ferments. The Sweet Farm's ferments are healthy for you and deliciously savory too! The Sweet Farm, known for their fermented products - Ginger Beer, Krauts, Pickles and more - are with us this season at the Market on our Savory Row! These fermented products are known also as probiotics, friendly bacteria that health experts say help us keep a healthy digestive system.  MUSIC AT THE MARKET: 4:00 - 6:00 PM We're so lucky! Before he leaves for Nashville, local musician, Garrett Mabe, will be filling the marketplace with some classic rock and a little bit of country!
