What is the Buy Local Challenge? The Buy Local Challenge is a personal commitment to support farms by eating local this week. And, we hope you will do just that at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers’ Market!  LIVE MUSIC: Nick & Friends! Local Musician, Nick Sparacino along with "a little help from his friends," plays some really cool, light classic rock at a number of local venues including festivals and at the Music Cafe in nearby Damascus, Maryland. WHAT'S IN SEASON? Look for locally grown, fresh-picked blueberries, blackberries, peaches, nectarines cantaloupes, watermelons, corn, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, summer squash, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, greens, onions, herbs and other locally grown, farm-fresh fruits & veggies. All of our farmers and producers are from within a 50-mile radius of the market. They bring with them their locally grown/produced products, such as fruits, vegetables, cheeses, eggs, meats, plants, honey, baked goods, jams & jellies, coffee, wines, flowers, plants and more!
