Did you know that Thomas Jefferson, one of the forefathers of our country, was one of the first to use crop rotation, restoring his soils health to grow better crops through a seven-year plan for his land?

Please note We've got a lot happening at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market which runs on Wednesdays through September 25, 3-7PM* in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy Train Station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.  Convenient parking is available in the Municipal Parking Lot and the Bank Building Upper Lot ... along  with a few spaces at the market reserved for the handicapped. * The Market is closed on July 3rd in honor of the Mount Airy Fireworks Celebration and will reopen on Wednesday, July 10th.
