MUSIC AT THE MARKET: 3:30PM-6:00PM - Our featured local musician will be Steven Gellman! We love Steven! He's graciously become a regular at the market. Recognized by BILLBOARD MAGAZINE as an “Essential for fans of sensitive acoustic music.... Gellman has sort of a John Denver-ish voice in the way he hangs on to a note and floats the vibrato and carries the sentiment of his lyrics.”

TODAY'S RECIPE & NUTRITION TIP! Sweet Corn Pudding from the Food Network's 33 Best Corn Recipes! When scraping the kernels away from the cob to use in their corn pudding, the Neelys reserve the milky runoff to later incorporate as a natural thickener, along with the milk, heavy cream and cheddar cheese.

According to VeryWellFit's Corn Nutrition Facts,  "Sweet corn, believe it or not, is actually a whole grain—it's a type of grass that is often referred to as a starchy vegetable because of its carbohydrate content. You will often hear whole corn is referred to as a vegetable, whereas ground corn is referred to as a grain.

Although corn contains carbohydrates, it is good for you. In fact, corn is rich in vitamin C, magnesium, B vitamins and carotenoids, such as lutein and zeaxanthin. Corn contains very little fat, less than 1 gram per serving (without toppings), and is a good source of
fiber, clocking in around 3 grams per half cup."
