"A taste of honey! Tasting much sweeter than wine. I dream of your first kiss, and then I feel upon my lips again.
A taste of honey! Tasting much sweeter than wine. I will return, yes I will return. I'll come back for the honey and you."
A Taste of Honey by The Beatles

TODAY'S RECIPE & NUTRITION TIP!  Honey Roasted Beets & Carrots from TheCreativeBite.com. Honey Roasted Beets & Carrots are an easy and healthy side dish. This simple recipe highlights the flavors of the vegetables with a touch of added sweetness. Together, they each make the other even more beautiful. But, they even more lovely when you consider how healthy they are. So full of vitamins and minerals, but still wonderfully tasty. With a touch of honey, you arrive at a side dish that makes everything else it is served with even more lovely and delicious. Find your local honey from Walker Honey Company, and look for carrots and beets from our local produce vendors at the market!

Did you know? "Eating unfiltered, unheated, raw honey produced within your area, (50-mile radius or less) is like receiving a natural anti-allergy shot! Quercetin, a component of honey, has been found in studies to reduce inflammation and pollen allergy symptoms. It stabilizes the cell membranes that release histamine, which triggers allergic reactions. Raw honey also contains bee pollen and bee propolis, which boosts the immune system, and builds immunity to allergens." Learn more,  read "6 Amazing Benefits of Local, Raw Honey."

Be sure to visit all of our amazing farmers and producers as listed above, and cool your core with a Jessica's Snowball while you're at the Market this Wednesday!
