Welcome Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market where we're here for everyone in our community every Wednesday, 3-7 pm June - September in Downtown Mount Airy. The Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market -
​C. S. A. Edition 2020 is located in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy train station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.  Convenient parking is available in 
Bank Parking Lots across Main Street and up in the  Municipal  Parking  Lot off of Park Avenue.

​Ever notice how sunflowers are so vibrant and radiant? In China, people associate sunflowers with a long life, good fortune, and vitality. To Native American groups, sunflowers represented harvest, bounty, and provision because they provided seeds, pigment, and more.  


What's in Season in June?​ Currently, the following are in season locally. Asparagus, Beans, Brocolli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Chard, Collards, Cucumbers*, Herbs, Kale, Lettuces, Mushrooms, Radishes, Potatoes,, Spinach, Summer Squash, Turnips and Tomatoes,and  Strawberries. We're also on the cusp of seeing blueberries, cherries, raspberries, and apricots. Stay tuned for more harvest updates in the coming weeks!

How Does the Farmers' Market Work Now?
Weekly Posting: Each Week, by No Later than Monday Morning, our weekly newsletter, This Week at the Market, will be posted which will list our vendors and what they have for preorder (see below). Each vendor will be on location for curbside pickups as well as for you to pick up items as needed. Runners will be able to help our Curbside Pick-up Patrons while some - as many as 10 patrons - will be able to enter each side of the market, below the center street steps and behind the train station.  We require face coverings to be worn within the marketplace, hands to be washed and social distancing. We ask you to shop quickly and allow the vendors to bag your purchases. And, please this season, no pets at the market.

​Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market Weekly Packages
We're continuing to feature our Mount Airy Made package featuring our Mount Airy Self Care Package. It features a Mask Made by Jayde and Marketed by the Kelly Family, a Bar of Soap (Eucalyptus Oil (2 left) or Unscented - made with Cannon Apiary's Raw Honey) made by Single Barrel Soaps, and Miscellaneous Distillery's 2 ounce bottle of Hand Sanitizer compliments of MAMSA. The package shown above retails for $17.50 and may be purchased online on our Square Site.

VENDORS:  The Farmers and Producers at the Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market who are taking preorders for this  Wednesday,  June 10th, are found below as well as what they are offering this week. Each will have products at the market for sale as well. Please remember to preorder the  from the vendors below by 12:00 noon this Tuesday, June 9th or stop by the market this Wednesday  to pick up your locally grown and produced foods! (Please note that Whispering Breeze is away this Wednesday, but are planning to return next Wednesday, June 17th.)
