"But, there's a full moon rising, let's go dancing in the light. We know where the music's playing,
let's go out and feel the night. Because I'm still in love with you, I want to see you dance again.
Because I'm still in love with you, on this harvest moon."   ~Harvest Moon, Neil Young

Join us for Week 14 of the 2020 Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market - Rain-or-Shine - this  Wednesday, September 2nd, 3-7 PM!  We're in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy train station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771.  Convenient parking is available on location, and  in the upper  Bank Parking Lot across Main Street and up in the  Municipal  Parking  Lot off of Park Avenue.
A Little Lunar Knowledge... If you're able to see the full moon on Tuesday night  (actually Wednesday morning), it called the Corn Moon! It arrives at 1:22 a.m.! According to The Old Farmer's Almanac, "this full moon's name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn was to be harvested." Learn more about this September moon and the Harvest Full Moon (that usually arrives in late September) which will appear October 1.

Learn about what it means to be part of Cub Scout Pack 1191

Pack 1191 will be on hand adjacent to the market. The pack supports boys and girls in the Mount Airy, MD area and is in the Francis Scott Key scouting district. Our district belongs to the National Capital Area Council, which includes the southern and central counties of Maryland and the northern counties of Virginia.
Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best “right now selves” and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.
