Look for us next Wednesday, August 25th, 3-7 PM, when we know Mother Nature will grant us sunnier weather! Please note we will continue to be a Rain, Shine or Heat of Day market . . . However, the forecast shows that due to the path that Hurricane Fred is taking, the heaviest rain with lightning and high winds will occur 2-8pm covering the span of set up and tear down of the market. There is a chance that tornados will ensue as a result as well. For your safety and the safety of our vendors and market volunteers, we have chosen to close the market for today.  We hope to see you next week when you join us for Week 13 of the 2021 Mount Airy Main Street Farmers' Market on Wednesday, August 25th, 3-7 PM! We're gearing up for back-to-school and will have traditional music and story time! We'll be in the Railyard behind the historic Mount Airy train station at 3 North Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771. Convenient parking is available in upper and lower the Bank Parking Lots across Main Street and up in the Municipal Parking Lot off of Park Avenue.  ENJOY AN EVENING OF WINE & CHEESE ON MAIN STREET to be held in Downtown Mount Airy, Thursday, August 19 . 6-8PM. Featuring the Best of Local, from Wines, Cheeses and farm-fresh products to all that our local Downtown Shops and Restaurants have to offer and More! In the event of rain, the event will be pulled indoors. This is a free ticketed for wine and cheese tastings; bottles of wine and cheese will be sold separately. While the online ticket sign-ups are closed capping out at 250, we will allow up to 50 walk-ins to register on-location starting at 5:30 PM.  Remember to Make it Memorable on Main Street! Shop. Dine.
